State and finishes
The farm was completely and perfectly restored in late 90s, after years of neglect which had left it in very poor conditions. Where possible, original and typical materials of the area were used and in any case works have been done respecting original style of the house and of the area. Outwardly, typical stones of Siena style, with walls plastered in spatula technique, and old details such as the fireplace, beams and the arches have been kept. At the moment, after years of non-residential use, the quality of home's maintenance suffers from lack of care, although with a few maintenance works it could be restored to its former glory.
The property consists of 20,000 square meters of fully fenced land, part of this has been dedicated to the garden enriched with roses and other flower bushes, a large sand paddox for horses and 5 brick boxes to protect horses, 2 precast boxes for their care and toiletries.
The property is fenced by a laurel hedge which guarantees privacy whike a long avenue lined with oaks and ash trees leads up to the square on which the estate opens.
